PRUNING

Written by: Nixxe

The tears that fall
are not yours.
Salty and cold,
sad mixed with indifference.
It's not for you.
life has other reasons.
Quitting is giving in.
stubborn can't do that.
The experienced see limits.
inexperienced see open fields.
It's a juxtaposition
not always public comprehension.
Prune as you will,
on your own plant.
What began as a step
in the dark,
Has turned into
a frequent visit.
I can't stop now.
We all flow on.

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Glacian, in the year 582 AF.
