Lost

Lost

Alone I sit
Upon my bed
Mind so composite
With thoughts of you.

Your simple touch

Silk upon weathered skin

Your delicate strands of hair
Dancing a waltz in the air

Your smile

So gentle and delicate.

But all that tis a dream.

I sit here
Alone
Without you.

Hesitating for the moment
Doubting for the second
Paying forever.

No crying
No emotion

nothing

How I wanted
So much
To cry
To feel

But emptiness was all that was there.

-Jarel Lighthawk

Penned by my hand on the 4th of Glacian, in the year 256 AF.
