Voices

Voices

Many fail to listen,
truly listen.
They can detect the anger and the joy
Tis given.

but in a voice there lies more.

Through your voice
I can hear many emotions
I can hear joy and happiness
And when I do
Tis better than the softest caress.

In your inflictions
Confusion and fear

And tis pain
Sometime more me than you

i feel i did wrong.

In your quietest whisper
Regret rings

Hoping for you to reconsider,
To no avail.

Yet silence is the worst,
It embeds itself within me.

Like a whip strike, it burns me.
True and cruel.

Beg for speach
To destroy your fears
Vanquish doubt

Rediscover happiness.
