Pain my name is FISH

I am not a fish per se'
I swim not in a lake or bay.

I am a mammal full bodied and blue
I am a whale and this is true.

At my birth there was a sign
in the sky a star did shine.

But in luck for me wasn't good
My parents named me fish - That's food!!

This does cause me grievous pain
in the neck, but emotionally is the main.

A bolt from a speeding harpoon
gives less pain then being marooned.

with his name I have been blessed
Fish Fish Fish my comrades chant.

Pain my name is FISH
I am a whale not a dish.

End my torment, ease my pain
Oh broken heart keep me sane.
