The Strongest Life
The winner stands triumphant, he has conquered over all
He killed the serpents and the knights, they now obey his rule
He toppled mighty towers until they crashed into the waves
He has crushed the cities' peoples, reduced them down to slaves
He has power unimagn'able, he is the supreme fighting force
But in his mind he's crippled, his conscience ran it's course.
The scholar knows his country well, its rivers and its lakes
He reads the minds of people, knows sincerity and fakes
He understands his theorems, his 'X'es and his 'Y's
He knows in which circumference the needlepoint will lie
He makes concoctions daily, he can cure the ills he sees
But can he make a good man, does he hold Goodness' keys?
The greatest man, the strongest life,
Don't deal in lies, don't slave for strife
Don't kill because you hold the knife
Study, but still live a life
Of freedom.
No warring lord, no cowardly thane, no darkness shall evade my aim!
Let all who worship evil's name, Beware my power - Accendus' flame!
Penned by my hand on the 16th of Phaestian, in the year 256 AF.
