The Tree

Written by: Adorable Armelia, Ithmia's Imp
Date: Friday, June 23rd, 2000
Addressed to: Everyone

Bare limbed it waits through Winter's snow
For spring to come and make it grow
When Gaia's breath brings buds and leaves
How it shudders, how it heaves
With life, and how it truly teems
So glossy in its verdant greens
Until then must it sigh and groan
Lend the wind it's mournful moan
Waiting for that happy day
When Gaia wakes it up to play

Penned by my hand on the 23rd of Scarlatan, in the year 251 AF.
