Recently, and for no known reason, the Wall of power that has kept
intrepid explorers from venturing too far north moved further to the
north, revealing sections of wilderness not previously accessible.

Soon after, the sentinel Rick discovered the polar village of Kamleikan,
and Senans discovered the plains village of Aran'riod.

Who or what controls the Wall remains a mystery.
