As the months passed, the remaining unloosed conduits continued their conflict, Jeramun's fire pitted against Bataoac's unyielding earth. It was the citizens of Targossas who sought to restore the Northern Giant, moving to engage in defence of Sapience while others cared little for the land's health.
A group of tash'la were deemed responsible for carrying a message down the World Tree from Ulghoch. As his compatriots spread out across the backwater world greeting them to explore and investigate its mineral wealth, one remained fixed upon his task, seeking out the Dawnspear albeit unimpressed by the reception he received from its inhabitants. Communicating the words of the ambassador to the nearest present leader, Farrah Roualt, Ulghoch's instructions were to attend him in the Embassy immediately, and to bring with them sacred ones: youth, for ever are the young and new blood of paramount importance to Earth.
In response to the request, Torinn, Farrah, Atalkez, Nazihk, Nyneve, and Jayden set out for Yggdrasil, bringing with them Serai and Kriex of the Dawnspear, precious youth. Greeting the massive elemental ambassador, they were informed that for the faith that Targossas had shown, so too was the Immovable Mountain willing to trust them with a symbol of its authority in a task that would be accomplished by their sacred ones.
After a brief conferral, it was Kriex who volunteered, stepping forth to receive a geode of Primordial Earth from Ulghoch, quarried from the heart of all that was Garash and carrying a crystalline sliver of living titanite. So blessed, the young dwarf was asked to carry it to the top of the Northern Giant, where with it he would possess the authority to restore the conduit and order his return to slumber.
Escorted by his elders, the group returned to the Prime Material Plane and scaled the heights of Bataoac to stand upon his shoulder. It was there that the as-yet-unsworn monk withdrew the living crystal from within the geode, gaining the blessing of Earth as the titanite melded to the very substance of his body. Speaking with the authority of Garash, Kriex, witnessed by his companions, reforged the link between the conduit and the Immovable Mountain and instructed him to return home.
With a roar did the Northern Giant respond, ignoring the attempts of the World's Flame to blacken and burn his monolithic form as he began his ponderous turn towards the northern tundra from which he had marched. Leaving the grass of the Dardanic behind, Bataoac began his journey in accordance with the instructions of his pilot, earth-shaking tremors rocking the mantle of the world with every stride.
Shattering trees, homes, and people with each immeasurable step, the Northern Giant unfalteringly strode towards the north, unhindered by ice, snow, or even the very oceans as he returned to where he had once lain at rest. At last reunited with Anake's Elbow, Bataoac at last stilled.
The living mountain was returned home.

Summary: With great effort did the citizens of the Dawnspear seek to show good faith to Elemental Earth. As a reward, Earth permitted them to bear a symbol of Garash's authority and reunite the Northern Giant with the will of the Immovable Mountain. In doing so, the great conduit was instructed to return home. Furthermore, the tash'la at last entered the Prime Material, permitting adventurers to reincarnate into their boar-like species.
