Victors of the Underworld Rebellion

So it came to be, as the shrill cry of a trumpet pierced the heavens on the 9th of Chronos, 719 AF, that the war in the Underworld was called to an end. Having lost their tenuous link to their counterparts between planes, the gateway portals within the Sangre Plains began to unravel, crumbling inwards upon themselves.

Overlooking the battlefields, Lord Aegis rumbled His approval for all in Achaea to hear, declaring that further conflict no longer served a purpose since the victory conditions were achieved. In a short span of time, the campaigns waged for control over territories in the Underworld had convinced Him that the art of war had never diminished in His absence; instead, it has grown and expanded, and one city in particular had flourished tremendously.

Backed by the might of Hashan, Court of Shadows, the Ur'Vampires Prioska and Asztrik emerged victorious over all other rival factions. Leading by a slim margin, the faction demonstrated not only diligent resource gathering and army preparations, but tenacity, strategy, espionage, and combat upon the battlefields.

Plagued by unforeseen circumstances in their pre-war phases, the Cabal of Ur'Vampires Tizane and Zigana fell behind, but dominated their opponents and carved their claim upon territories with ease. Aiming for the top, the faction made a terrifying contender, rising from second to last to place second overall in the conflict.

Slowly but steadily, the Loyalists of Gerzson and Kemnast assailed each territory with a large, gathered force and a firm conviction. Achieving varied successes in their campaign, they encountered pockets of resistance and ambushes that tested the cohesiveness of their army. While they had won most battles, they had lost the war and placed third.

Acknowledging each faction's generals for their leadership, the Supreme Commander turned His attention away from the Underworld at last, returning to the Garden of the Gods amidst a rising protestation from the inhabitants of the undead kingdom.

Summary: For two months did the war in the Underworld rage on, until a victor emerged from the bloodbath. Calling an end to the rebellion, Lord Aegis pronounced the Cabal of the Ur'Vampires Prioska and Asztrik the overall winner. Leading by a slim point margin collated across all three phases, the scores are as follows: Prioska and Asztrik (23 points), Tizane and Zigana (21 points), Gerzson and Kemnast (20 points), Zsarachnor (18 points), and Belladona (9 points).

Penned by My hand on the 22nd of Mayan, in the year 718 AF.
