Four years ago, Isildur proved himself one of, and possibly the, most
capable and broadly-talented mortals in Achaea. I was honoured to reward
him with the fabled and lost staff of Nicator himself, which I made for
the great leader a thousand years ago.

Now, I am equally proud to oversee the transfer of the Staff from
Isildur to Shakti Devi, who didn't just win the Year 300 competitions.
She DOMINATED them. It all began with a win in the Quiz, where she
showed why Occultists are justly famous as scholars. She then went on to
win the Egghunt, in which she demonstrated her talents at leadership,
and in which others loyalty to her were demonstrated. While not placing
highly in the test of geographical knowledge, the Tumble Races, her
team, which also included Estach and Jarik, placed 2nd in the Combat
Triplets Tournament, barely losing to the powerful team of Zero,
Andelas, and Rivalyn. She continued with a respectable 7th place in the
XP contest, and finally, she demonstrated that she has a sense of
humour, by placing 2nd in the Joke's contest.
