After spending several months researching the shattered amulet, those of
the Lady Demeter's Order, led by Her Oracle Maklyr Wildfang, gathered
together in the Darkenwood. Joined by others representing different
faiths, they began the ritual that would supposedly heal the decay and
damage caused to the Darkenwood by Sartan and His agents.

The ritual began with the opening of the Sacred Circle, wherein Maklyr
called on the Elemental Spirits to give the Darkenwood strength. The
hallowed ground shook and trembled as energy poured from the
participants into a giant swirling vortex of energy. Then, the sacred
phrase was spoken:

A'd inbhae Propasia delmin baaed coalette Urania daes!

As the words were chanted, the two spirits twined their hands, smiling
in rapture and awe at the power flowing into them. Silver mist swirled
about the entire Darkenwood, and a column of green light shot up into
the sky, visible from anywhere on Sapience. A chorus of voices singing
in perfect natural harmony rose up over the Wood, as healing energies
poured forth, that drifted over Sapience for a brief moment. The
Darkenwood shuddered and relaxed, as though a great evil had been driven
out of it.

As the circle was closed, the visible damage to the Darkenwood had
indeed been healed. Through the Divine Trust of Twilight in the
knowledge of Demeter, the Wood is now considered as sacred ground to
both Nature and Darkness. It will serve forever as a reminder of the
terrible things that can happen as well as the hope that in the grand
scheme of the world, mortal faith and Divine working can change even the
most grim of situations.
