I am pleased to announce the works that have been selected this month
from among the many entries submitted to the Fellowship. As a note to
submitters, please read HELP CONTESTS and send us graphic and written
work only in the formats we ask for. When you do not, it slows down the
judging process significantly. Thank you, and on to the results...
For the Bardic Contest:
-First Place-
"My Life in Words - Part II," the second chapter of Rall's captivating
memoirs.
-Runners Up-
"Garden of the Gods," an insightful poem by Draggoth, telling of many of
the Garden's most active Divine.
"The Enemy Within," Mercan's dramatic tale of his early introduction to
the harsh world beyond home.
"Ode to the Crypt Beast," the entertaining story of Asphodel's
confrontation with the legendary foe.
-Merit Awards-
"Orphan Killing," a tale of life in law enforcement, by Greywolf.
"Finding the Way," Laxarn's memories of seeking his fortune, and
discovering a home.
"Doriun's Diary," the story of a great and terrible endeavor, documented
by Khadeb.
For the Artisanal Contests:
-First Place-
"The Human Sorceress," the beguiling portrait of a mysterious unnamed
magic-user, by Style.
-Runners Up-
"Xoran," Phoenixia's excellent drawing of the lizard-like folk.
"Buffalo Dance," in which Emty proves the she has discovered the secret
pastime of the great wandering beasts.
"Sleep," Kyra's beautiful illustration of herself in peaceful repose.
"Family Tree," in which Shazara makes a superb effort to bring together
many of the Achaean bloodlines into one diagram.
-Merit Awards-
"Night of the Sorcerer," a skillful illustration by Anubis.
"Vinci," depicting the famous egotist preparing for his next
masterpiece, as viewed by Serentus.
"Logosmas," Idempotent's remembrance of Bambi's shop, bedecked for the
holiday.
"Snug Boots," an advertisement by Elsp for her highly-regarded shops and
wares.
"The Female Warlock," an illustration of a savage beauty by Kanolds.
