We've just loaded up some changes to how damage is calculated for player versus denizen combat. These changes will only effect weapon classes, and should significantly smooth out the disparities.

We'll be keeping an eye on this, as now that all damage is set at the correct baseline we'll be more able to adjust as necessary across the board.
