As the weather warms up for those of us in the northern hemisphere, we thought we'd heat things up here in Achaea with some very special Globes of Shifting Continents!

In keeping with the strange events that have been going on around Achaea, we're pleased to feature in this month's Globes caches containing a new talisman set, themed for the realm of Death, the Killers battle figurine set, and (because this isn't enough!) some strange skeletal pets have found their way into unmarked crates.

For the first ten days of June unmarked crates will contain either a skeletal kitten or a skeletal rat, whilst battle figurine display cases hold either Lafrin or Ophal, of Dauntless fame.

The following can also be found in your Globes:
* Credits
* Artefacts ranging from 50 - 500cr in value, all chosen to help you cheat Death.
- Circlet of will
- Ring of endurance
- Ring of the magus
- Hunter's belt
- Mayan bracelets
- Ring of vitality
- Ring of meditation
- Wrought bone lyre (Lasillian lyre)
- Scavenged beak pipe (artefact pipe)
- Stone vial (artefact vial)
* Humgii racing tickets
* Tradeskill slots (provided you do not already have all the tradeskills)
* Artefact upgrade credits
* Shop Carts
* Trait resets (should you not already have one)
* Reincarnations (should you not already have one)

Now, for the important stuff, the Talisman rundown!

This month's talismans are part of a special collection. Should you acquire all eight and officially COLLECT them you will earn the Deadfall scythe as your reward!

A cowled practice dummy
Are you brave enough to train against Death's avatar?

A lichen-mottled gravestone
PLANT this monument of memorial in the location of your choice and when you next embrace death you will return to life at your headstone.
This only works if you perish upon the same continent/plane as your gravestone, it cannot be placed in wilderness, on ships, or in House estates.
Should you perish and embrace death upon another plane of existence to that of your gravestone you will be resurrected at the Cave as normal, your gravestone will be unmoved.
Gravestones can be removed by anyone via DESPOIL <gravestone>, this will return it to the owner's inventory.

A spiralled loop of mortal coil
BREAK this coil and sever your connection to life.
Like heartstop, this is a channel action, and can be used once every 30 minutes.
Breaking your mortal coil will not incur the extra XP loss that heartstop does.

Candle of cessation
CONSIDER a denizen to measure how much time has passed since he, she, or it last returned from the Halls of Death.

Death's Call
When this bugle is sounded via BLOW BUGLE you will recall all creatures native to your area to life!
Once sounded the bugle cannot be used again for two hours.
This will not work for city guards or honours and other boss-style denizens.

Soulfire Crucible
Imperil the very fire of your own soul in order to utilise this offensive or defensive tool.
LIGHT CRUCIBLE to light and place the crucible in the location of your choice. The next fifteen deathsights will cause the crucible to flare, dealing fire damage to all in the room and to the owner (reduced) of the crucible.
The owner of the crucible must remain alive and in the same area as the crucible.
The crucible will not flare off deathsights it or any other crucible causes.
Lighting the crucible begins an hour long cooldown before it can be lit again.

Sycophantic shoulder cape
Once WORN, the death of denizens at your hands will fuel this strange garment with a modicum of their parting lifeforce in order to empower yourself, increasing your max health for a duration of four minutes.
Continue to chain denizen deaths and keep building this stack to gain up to 150% of your normal maximum health!
Should four minutes go by without killing a denizen, your bonus will dissipate.
Denizens loyal to adventurers do not count for this, nor do the overly weak opponents of the realm have enough life to steal.
This item cannot be worn at the same time as the cloak of the Blood Maiden.

Vulture's Talon
SCRATCH MYSELF WITH TALON to gain a burning infection that gives the insulation defence.
Scratching oneself does not consume salve balance.
This action incurs a cooldown on the person.

Deadfall scythe*
Behead is so 600 AF. Now you can CULL your foes with this terrifying weapon and send them straight to the Halls of Death.
Cull is faster than behead when performed in the Underworld.
* This is a prize reward and can only be acquired by completing and collecting all eight items listed above.
