There was some confusion as to whether the Quiz would be occuring at the
same time as the xp contest. It will actually be occurring 3 hours after
the xp contest ends so that you can participate in it without hurting
your chances in the xp contest. The xp contest runs for 24 hours, from
Saturday 7pm - Sunday 7pm. The Quiz shall begin at Sunday 10pm, GMT.
Hopefully, it wil be over by midnight GMT, then the award ceremony with
the passing of the Staff of Nicator shall happen immediately after.

Two changes: the xp contest WILL be a free PK event. As ever in free PK
events, you will not lose xp if you die to another adventurer (or his or
her entities) but you will lose xp if you die bashing. Therefore, it is
in very poor form to cause people to die to an aggressive denizen
deliberately, such as through the Pit, by purposefully leading an
aggressive creature into someone, et ceterea. Do not do this.

The other change: As Sarapis did in year 350, I have relented and will
allow people who have NOT yet scored Y4C points to enter the Quiz, for
an admission fee of 5000gp to be paid before the beginning of the Quiz.
Please come early to the Quiz so that we can begin on time.
