Year 400 is finally here! Thank you to everyone who made a special point
of being with us for the turning of the year. And if you weren't able to
make it -- thank you anyway simply for being a part of this world, a
world we jointly create and recreate anew each day in our own
multifaceted images, a world which would not exist without you.

Those in the realms at the turning of the year each received a gift of
50 lessons and 10 neocredits. Many dozens of giftbags were scattered
throughout the realm, from Saoghal to the Granite Hills to Arcadia and
more, stuffed with goodies ranging from gold, commodities, and herbs to
a wand of portals, a set of Earrings of Sinope, gemstone vials, and much
more!

I also opened the Year 400 Lottery, with a Sony PSP + 1000 credits as
the grand prize, 2nd prize 1000 credits, 3rd prize 500 credits, 4th
prize 200 credits, and 5th prize 100 credits. You can purchase tickets
for 1000gp each at the Delosian Lottery office. See HELP LOTTERY and
LOTTERY INFO 1. The lottery drawing will be on Saturday, 5PM GMT.

While the first Y4C Championship Games aren't set to occur until after
the lottery drawing, you can still participate in the many smaller games
and competitions we'll hold outside of what is on the official schedule
(at http://www.achaea.com/year400.htm if you've forgotten). In fact, we
just ran a special egghunt where 100gp was given per egghunt point (or
100gp per white egg, 800gp per striped egg) to every single participant!
Jaizsur, the highest scorer, won 42,600gp in the egghunt. We'll be
running special variations on your favourite games and more throughout
the week, so keep alert!

PS. Aww, thanks for the lottery ticket Dallam. That PSP is gonna be
mine!
