Today is the 3rd of Mayan, 399 years after the fall of the Seleucarian
Empire.

Only 22 Achaean days until Y4C festivities begin! We'll kick off with
the traditional treasure hunt and the opening of the lottery tomorrow,
at the turning of the Achaean year. It looks like that turning is going
to be a little later than the rough time I'd originally calculated using
DATE -- it should occur between 4 and 5pm GMT. So set your alarms.

If you can't make the turning, we'll have festivities and more chances
for prizes throughout the week. The major events begin on the weekend,
with the twins combat tourney, tumble races, bandersnatch, and more.
