You all want to grow, to attain, to rise, to become more and more
powerful! Yes, I know you do. When it comes to the BUG command, here
is a recording of an interesting recent exchange which may prove
instructional:
** the first filing
-------------------
BUG #1 Reported by Somebody - At the public library, when I try to
check out a book, the library isn't finding the items on the shelves.
I changed permissions to see if it would help. No change. Please, fix
this bug. This is a huge problem for us. Or if it isn't a bug, please
let me know.
** the problem
--------------
There is not enough detail. And you don't have to ask us to fix the bug!
Really: we WANT TO fix it! And we will be in contact with you.
** the second filing
--------------------
General Issue: Library books not checking out. IH returns,
'"bookshelf993" A birch bookshelf.' Probing either "bookshelf" or "993"
returns
"This is a birch bookshelf.
It is stained. It is tall, narrow, and deep in dimension.
It weighs about 88 pounds.
It bears the distinctive mark of: Thera.
You are able to borrow from this library for a term of 1 Achaean days
and at a cost of 0 gold.
A birch bookshelf has the following volumes in circulation:
* Manuscript13233 The Seleucarian Empire, Part 2: The Wars . . .
* Manuscript13987 The Modern Age - Snapshots of Achaea
* Manuscript70259 The Seleucarian Empire: The Founding . . . - Volume One.
* Manuscript82159 The Seleucarian Empire: The Founding . . . - Volume Two.
* Manuscript83970 The Seleucarian Empire, Part 2: . . . - Volume One.
* Journal246196 The History of the Mortal Races.
* Manuscript261244 The Modern Age - Chronological Order
The library is open.
Typing "checkout 70259" returns, "I cannot find that to check out."
** conclusion
-------------
Rejoicing! Dancing in bugfixers' shoes!
Now _THAT_ is enough detail. Maybe a bit too much, but if we have to
choose between too much detail and not enough, BRING IT ON! TOO MUCH
DETAIL! We may even name a new dance in your honour.
Penned by my hand on the 20th of Chronos, in the year 396 AF.
