Changing class

Changing class is covered in HELP CHANGING. In it, you'll find that
when you quit your current class, you get a refund of close to all
of the lessons you put into class skills, or about half of those
lessons (depending on whether you have embraced class or not).
When you quit class, that's all you get. That is, there is no
overlap, or carryover, or anything at all when you go to your next
class. There is no advantage to going to a similar class (except
that you might already be familiar with how to get things done).
There is no credit, no transfer, no gain of lessons in a new class
based on what your old class may have been.
Sorry if this seems repetitive. It's meant to make it very clear
that this is not the old system and people who wish to switch
classes should not continue to hope for some sort of advantage
by choosing a new class with one or more shared skills.
