I've made a change whereby your "effectiveness with weapons," if you have Chivalry, is based off the higher of your Weaponry skill and your Chivalry skill. Then, the value of the lower skill is divided by 10 and added onto the full value of the higher one. So, if you're trans in both, you'll now use weapons as if you had Trans + 10% Weaponry.
The intent of this change was to give knights a little upgrade for learning both, and to stop making little knights have to learn Weaponry instead of Chivalry. Now they can put off Weaponry for much later if they want to.
What is affected by your "effectiveness with weapons?"
- the chance that any weapons attack (swing/jab/whatever) is 'a hit.'
- the chance that your 'hit' is not avoided by your target.
- the damage done.
Penned by my hand on the 12th of Phaestian, in the year 390 AF.
