We have recently started using the phrase "Your Patriotic Duty" and
YPD as a shorter form of that, as many of you already know, to refer
to voting for Achaea on the TopMudSites.com website.

We did this to try to give at least a semi-in-character way of
speaking of something that is patently OOC - out of character.

We'd like you to BOTH support us, and find in-character ways to do it.

In other words, shouting "Hey, go VOTE, we're number 2" is OOC. It's
not a huge violation, especially considering how often most people
are OOC in their daily lives in Achaea, and we're not going to go
zapping people for shouting that way, but it could easily be improved
and we'd like you to try.

That's why YPD is there. Why not shout - "I did my patriotic duty,
for all Achaea!" or something similar?

We can all look for, and the more intelligent and resourceful will
surely be able to find, ways to move in the direction of being
in character, and avoiding that OOC stuff.

You could still I think reasonably add in (HELP YPD) or even a
slyly hidden message (Very Obvious To Everybody!) to your shouts.
Just have fun with it!
