Hi Everyone,
I was curious about some things, so do not get upset about me asking,
thing is I just want to know is all, so nice posts with answers or msgs
would be a different change. Okay one, I understand that people shouting
about stupid things annoys alot of people than it does anyone else. So I
see in a way why the Gods have taken the action they did, yet I want to
know one thing, what is the purpose of shouting? You cannot be angry with
people over shouts that is for rage channel, you cant go ooc over shouts
that is for the ooc channel, you cannot sell things over shouts that is
for the market channel, newbies cannot shout out questions, everyone directs
them to the newbie channel, and no one discusses city or guild matters over
shouts cause thats what our GT and CT are for. So our purpose of shouts are
what? I do have a slight opinion without knowing much about the matter, but
I would like to state it anway...Why can shouts not be fun? People waste up
there endurance over shouts to have fun, and they dont mind it, but then all
the intoners and bigger older people throw a fit, I think if it is not way
out of whack, why can people not use shouts for fun? We do need a bit of
enlightening humor anyway. Yells cannot be treated same as shouts at all,
this is where my other point which conflicts with the first comes in. Shouts
can be heard by everyone in the land who is listening, so thats why they
shouldnt be abused, but yells are just in one area, and they are not so
important that people cannot turn them off if they get goofy for awhile, some
people still try to enjoy humor these days, and if you look and see we do not
have a humor channel, so thats why people take it to shouts and yells. Not to
annoy everyone, just liven you up and get you all in good spirits aka moods.
I used to have a blast shouting with my friends, it was fun, but I have stopped
long ago when people started making complaints about them getting to spammy.
Yet look at one thing, are shouts so important that you must keep them on
all the time? Cause there is a channel for everything, so why do you have
to be listening to shouts? This is all just my curiousity, I cannot seem
to grasp a point in this matter, and thats why Im asking all of you out there.
And there is even a Gods channel for serious matters, and when you have shouts
off you can still here the Gods speaking, so what is the purpose of shouts,
and why is there no channel for fun? We obviously cant use yells or shouts
anymore without serious consequences, that goes back to the point where no
one is having the slightest bit of fun these days. Just think of this, has
there ever been a time when you werent feeling all that great, kinda down in
the dumps and someone over shouts and yells atleast made you curve a smile?
It does happen, and its nice to have people make you feel better when your
feeling like blah. So please anyone, send me a msg, try not to spam the board
and give me a little insight on all that I have said. Comments greatly
appreciated 🙂
