The new Devotional changes

Greetings Achaeans,

First off, Tranquility, I agree wholeheartedly with you.

Most of you know me, I am a Rogue Paladin and was asked to leave the
Paladins guild for the second time. I agreed, and was not
Excommunicated. I have a high level in Devotional powers. I have tried
this new set up and I personally find it quite over powering. The
shrines were a great way to have this set up for skills. But now it
makes it so its useless. Demons are way to powerful for a mobile rite.
Piety is set up way to easy at such a little cost in essence to the
whole of the devotion you can have. Rites equilibrium time is to fast.
We can set them up even with you in the location and take minimal
damage from you before we have the rites up and are attacking you.

I would like to sugest something else to make this seem more
balanced. Maybe something like concencrating the ground before you
place the rite or something. That way, its two equilibriums for a rite.
Just like the Magi are with spinning/embeding/waiting for the vibe. Or
if not that, make a sigil that the Magi can make, that would cut rites
about every 10 or 12 seconds. Like the Cube and Knife. This I believe
would even it out some for it wouldn't be so easy to lay down, and
there is a defence to rites.

That is just my opinion,
May the Shadows guide you all.
