honors Impeached

Kinilan Demaxx has yet again levelled accusations of embezellment of Hashan city funds and led to his ousting from Hashan due to his attempts to bring the crimes of the regency to light.

As Treasurer of Hashan during the time period in question I testify to the falsity of this claim. There was no coin nor credit in the Hashan coffers that did not pass under my scrutiny. My rigorous recordkeeping and constant oversight not only tracked the city's finances but also, I believe, influenced the standardized reporting style adopted by clerks continent-wide during subsequent ministerial reforms. If not, then I commend their independant alignment with my own methods.

Kinilan, we already addressed this matter. You placated me by acknowledging these claims, though aimed to others, unjustly struck at my professional pride and offered an apology. But here we are once again, with another arrow buried in the wing of my professional integrity.

I am wounded.

T. Maris

Penned by my hand on the 9th of Valnuary, in the year 966 AF.
