Greetings, Sapience,
I write to you this month to bring you the fruition of an initiative long in the works.
Delayed by Reckonings and War, the Symposium that was some time ago announced by Tyrannus Ysela and Imperiate Keorin of Mhaldor and Cyrene, respectively, is now come to its fruition.
All are welcome to attend the exhibitions, themed to the two respective Cities as they may be.
The schedule for the events is laid out as follows:
On the Third of Phaestian, of Eight-Fourty-One, we open the Symposium with the event 'Songs of Sorrow,' wherein Tyrannus Stheno of Mhaldor and Senator Laedha of Cyrene will be offering a rendition of the suffering of both peoples at the hands of the 'teth attacks in commemoration of that harm and celebration of the strides both Cities have made, since then.
On the Second of Chronos, of Eight-Fourty-One, we continue with the event 'Scenes From a Defiant Heart,' wherein Preceptor Taryius of Mhaldor and Senator Kaden of Cyrene will be offering paintings that embody the resolve and resilience of those who stood against the Tide and its Tsol'teth masters, to keep alive and exult that spirit of defiance before even overwhelming foes.
Finally, on the Sixth of Glacian, of Eight-Fourty-One, we will conclude with the event, 'Hero of my City,' wherein Insid'atori Reyson Aristata of Mhaldor and Minister of Cultural Affairs Perl of Cyrene will be offering an original literary work highlighting the nature of the resistance put up against the Tsol'teth both in the face of immediate harm and in the lingering nature of their incursion.
It is our intent that this Symposium will remind the world of a threat that very much lurks beneath our feet and menaces our future. That the world will be reminded that in its darkest hours in some time, there have been Achaeans who have had the resolve to stand against a seemingly unstoppable foe.
What ingenuity, tenacity, and relentlessness in challenge is to be found among the peoples of Sapience should not be squandered.
Where it is evident, it ought to be showcased, and emulated. Where it is lacking, it must be brought there, and inculcated.
A first step on a long road this may be. But to not walk this road at all is to succumb meekly the next time the interlopers come for what they have convinced themselves is their due.
In service eternal,
-Reyson Aristata
