Hail, Sapience.

Come the year 828AF, the Asterian Restoration will be celebrating its 150th anniversary, marking the passing of a full century and a half since four very different personalities struck an accord upon the windswept Asterian Peninsula to build a public institute of knowledge and learning.

Since the Asterian Restoration was founded, we have hosted landmark global events such as the Asterian Conventions and the Crafters' Fair. In honour of this milestone, we intend to take this tradition a step further with another first: the Asterian Festival of History.

Many activities, both new and old, are planned for this inaugural year-long festival, which - as the name suggests - focuses on major events in Achaean history. We have been in communication with the various city-states as well; as with any Asterian event, we see the promulgation of knowledge as a concerted effort by all.

A full itinerary will be posted closer to the date. For now, cultivating an interest in all things historical is certain to prove advantageous - now and in the future.

Be on the lookout for further details as I post them upon the boards. More will be forthcoming. I encourage interested parties to speak to your local governmental representative if you wish to contribute.
