Hello,

The Village of Eleusis is proud to present Nature's Jubilee, Festival
of Wild Wonders, 825AF!

A more precise listing of times for events below will be posted at the
end of 824, this is just a preview of those that are open to the
public.

We encourage all of you to partake in one or more events. We look
forward to sharing some of the more light-hearted aspects of Nature
with you. If anyone has any questions now or throughout, I am happy
to answer as best I can, without giving away too many clues.

Sprinkled throughout the Festival we expect to host some arena events
as well, these are not planned for a specific time, so keep your ears
open for them!

Sarapin (mid-winter)
--------------------
Festival Opening Ceremony
This event will be hosted by our lovely Speaker Myna.

The Savvy Warriors Chess Tournament Signups!
- This event is in honour of Lord Aegis. With strategy, cunning,
and a great deal of patience, the victor will prevail!
- Signups will begin this month, you must message Valory prior to
the end of the Festival to confirm your entry. If you have a
usual set of times for availability is helpful to add this to
your entry, as it will make assigning matches that much easier
for me.
- The tournament itself will run until the next Festival, that
means you will have plenty of time to sort out availability of
your assigned matches.


Daedalan (late winter)

Valory's Wayward Scarves Beings
- Rules are to be announced in the news, at the start.
- Prizes will be listed in the rules posting, and handed out at
the ball.
- This event highlights what many of us do on a yearly basis as
part of the Wildwalkers Clan.


Aeguary (early spring)
----------------------
Hook'em High, Hook'em Low
- A lovely fishing contest hosted by our very own Avirien!
- Details, rules, and prizes to be posted to the news before
the event.


Miraman (mid-spring)

Design Frenzy Begins!
- Any and all designs accepted, categories will be decided as
submissions are received.
- The theme will be announced in the news at start.
- We look forward to seeing what all your creative minds can
achieve!


Scarlatan (late spring)
-----------------------
Icy Rapids Race
- The first 5 to make it all the way down the frozen "Rapids" to
the finish wins. No flying, flaming, gating, rifting, garing,
etc.
- We need volunteers to help ice up the area beforehand. I will
announce the gathering of volunteers at about half a day before
the event is to start. We will accept assistance from anyone
with the ability to freeze the ground, however temporarily,
most notably Magi or those with Bracers of Frost, the more
we get the farther we can make the course go! (And yes, the
volunteers will get a thank you gift for their efforts.)


Ero (early summer)

Tradepost Hunting Starts!
- Runes and prizes are to be posted to the news at the start.
- This event is in honour of our Trade Ministry, who work tirelessly
to make sure we have all the commodities that are needed.


Valnuary (mid-summer)

First Serenade
Valory Says!
- A fun game of monkey say, monkey do.
- Rules and prizes to me announced just before the start.


Second Serenade
Tipsy Tumble Races!
- A drunken Tumble Race around the Aalen Forest!
- First 5 across the finish will receive prizes.
- I will need volunteers to help setup icewalls, as with the Ice
Rapids Race above, they will receive thank you gifts.

Design Frenzy Ends!
- Design submission closes, winners will be declared at the Ball.

Valory's Wayward Scarves Ends!
- Make sure to sign your letter!


Lupar (late summer)

The Merry Hunt
- A traditional hunt hosted by our lovely speaker Myna.
- Any and all are welcomed to join us as we roam across the wilds
in a what I hope to be a massive gathering.


Phaestian (early autumn)

Nature's Mimics
- This should prove to be a game of fun filled Nature themed
charades!
- Bring your best animal impressions!


Chronos (mid-autumn)

Tradepost Hunting Ends!
- Submission period for this event ends, sign your letters!
- Winners to be announced at the Ball.


Glacian (late autumn)

Scrapers and Snackers! (Culture)
- Come enjoy treats while we watch the scrappers battle it out.
- All scrapper and trainer levels are encouraged to attend!


Mayan (early winter)

The Savvy Warriors Chess Tournament Begins!
- Official First tier matches posted. Tournament Begins!
- More details on schedule of tiers once signups are complete.

The Masquerade Ball!
- Announcement of design contest winners and their prizes.
- Presentation of prizes for events not already handed out, or
noted above.
- A dance contest. Show us your moves!
- Best dressed Man and Woman contest. Wear something neat!
- Hosted by the lovely Ardat.

Festival Closing Ceremony
- A little speach to finish out the Festival, by yours truly!


That is all for now, I do expect a few more planned events to be added
before the final schedule is posted. So, keep a weathered eye out for
