These are challenging times for the city of Cyrene, more so than ever before. For the first time in our history, our home has been taken from us by foreign invaders, and many of our citizens are still trapped within. Many of us are reeling from what's happened, but it's times like these that we most need to hold on to our hope, for our true fight is just beginning.

From the remains of the battle we have formed the Cyrenian Resistance, a force dedicated to driving back the Tsol'teth and recapturing our home at any cost. The Resistance exists to gather those who made it out of Cyrene before the end of the battle, to build up our forces so that we're ready to face the strength of the Tsol'teth, and find a way to enter and take back our city, at any cost. Our war is far from over, for as long as we still stand, Cyrene has not fallen.

Any Cyrenian who is not yet part of the resistance should contact any Cyrenian adventurer to join. It will take all of us bringing our many strengths together to take back our home.

And if any Cyrenians still trapped in the city can read this, please do what you can to keep as safe as possible, and hold on to hope. You are our family, and those of us here will do whatever it takes to get you safe and take our home back. These may be the darkest days our city has ever faced, but we will rise from it stronger than ever, mark my words.

The Dragon of the South rises, and we will not rest until Cyrene and everyone who calls her home is safe again. Together, nothing will stand in our way.
