Edge of The Ocean

The beautiful river flows from the north,
Piercing the forest, like a breath.
It ends in the sea, silent,
Spreading, until the edge of the ocean.

The island looks beautiful,
Like a gem in a necklace.
But even gems will decay,
Swallowed by the wind and the waves.

Living creatures lie still there,
From the weak to the strong.
They are selfish in life,
Climbing the peak, then falling.

Disease spreads to the edge,
Hidden behind the beautiful mountains.
They ask for help from the almighty,
But only find the grave.

Hunger reaches the edge of the island,
Spreading like sand on the shore.
What does the god above care,
For creatures like them?

Beautiful, good, smooth,
This is how they think life is.
Without knowing the direction of their lives,
They die in regret.
