12.5.8 Tir Murann

Secluded deep in the hills of the Dakhota lies the village of Tir Murann,
home to the surviving foreign refugees from the infamous Vertani War.
Translated from their native tongue, it means Land of Hope, as it is the
last place for these exiles. Led by Daqsool, the Qoul (Protector) of the
village, these Vertani have etched out a new, peaceful existence and have
turned the remnants of their once-great army into a protective guard.
