12.8.1 The Mhojave Desert

The desert is one of the loneliest places in Achaea. Inhabited mainly by
creatures such as lizards and hyenas, it is not a place to linger in, though
some of the Serpentlords have been known to enjoy basking in the sun there,
and of course the famous and intoxicating cactus weed grows only in the desert.
