12.17.10 Kuthalebak

The town of Kuthalebak is found in the shadow of the mountain from which it
takes its name, nestled in a secluded valley on the plane of Bjarndyr. An enclave
of Vertani, much of the lowlands are given over to agriculture, both arable and
livestock. Exploration of the peaks surrounding the settlement is fraught with
danger, home as they are to predators and prey alike. Recent efforts to expand
the catacombs beneath the temple have uncovered a fungus-infested network of
tunnels deep under the mountains.
