15.12 ISSUES and ISSUING
(See HELP IC RESOLUTION, HELP FILING AN ISSUE, HELP POLICIES, HELP PK)
Issues are, first and foremost, an OOC way to request customer service
in-game. If you file an issue, you are filing it as the real human being
behind your computer, not your character. There is no such thing as an
in-character issue. As such, please mind that just like email, computers,
and the United States of America, issues should not be discussed over
public channels.
This help file deals mainly with what is and is not an issue. If you are
planning to file an issue, please read HELP FILING AN ISSUE which has more
detail on what you should and should not include in an issue. If you are
planning to file an issue AGAINST another player, be sure to read HELP IC
RESOLUTION as well.

What Is An Issue?
-----------------
An ISSUE is usually one of two things
1) A problem: An ISSUE is a problem in Achaea, probably with another
adventurer or a group, that you cannot find a way to resolve in any
other way, and usually related to theft, killing, or harassment.
(See HELP FILING AN ISSUE and HELP IC RESOLUTION)
2) A personal request for clarification or immortal assistance: It is
OK to issue in order to ask a question, or to get clarification
from an immortal. Just ISSUE ME <your question here>. This is far
better than shouting for an admin or divine.
Note: "ISSUE ME I need to talk to a divine." is not enough. Give us
your question! Don't just say you need to talk to us.
What Is Not An Issue?
---------------------
An ISSUE is not a problem with how the game works - that is a BUG, and you
should use the BUG command to report it.
An ISSUE is not a suggestion for a new way to do things - that is an IDEA,
and you should use the IDEA command to suggest it.
An ISSUE is not a report on a typo you've noticed in Achaea - that is a
TYPO, and you should use the TYPO command to report it.
Buying Credits, Credit Purchases, etc., are not Issues
------------------------------------------------------
For CREDIT PURCHASES (e.g. you're trying to buy credits on the web site,
or sending in a money order, or you've not gotten credits in a reasonable
period, or you want to negotiate a larger purchase, etc): for questions or
problems like this: DON'T ISSUE! Contact support@achaea.com.
If it's a problem with a customisation, pet, buying an artefact, converting
credits, and the like, don't contact sales - contact the relevant email
addresses, which may be: artefacts@achaea.com, customisations@achaea.com,
or pets@achaea.com. If your credit-related problem has naught to do with
artefacts, customisations, or pets, you can file an issue.
