8.1.95 Class ranks - fledgling, journeyman/woman, full member
(See also HELP CLASS, HELP SKILL RANKS, HELP EMBRACE) Each member of a class is at one of three stages, or ranks. These are Fledgling, Journeyman, and Full Member. Fledgling When you first join a class, you will be a fledgling. You'll have only 2 of the 3 skills in the class and will not be able to learn them above the level of Skilled. This is about the middle rank in skills. See HELP SKILL RANKS for more detail. Journeyman When you reach level 20, you'll automatically be counted a Journeyman, and will be able to learn your class skills up to Fabled. Fabled is the tenth skill rank out of twelve (see HELP SKILL RANKS). Full member Once you reach level 50, you'll be counted as a full member of your class. As a full member you will have access to all three class skills with no restriction on skill rank. Adventurers that are a member of a house will be able to reach full member once they reach level 30, and house rank 2. If you do EMBRACE CLASS then you'll gain three benefits: 1) You'll be a full member of your class. 2) You'll gain your third class skill. 3) All limits on your learning will be removed, which means you will be able to study to the highest skill rank: Transcendent. This only applies while you are at or above the required level. If you reach that point and then fall beneath it, you will not be able to EMBRACE CLASS until you regain the minimum level to embrace class. (See also HELP CLASS, HELP SKILL RANKS, HELP EMBRACE)
