12.8.7 Actar, the Valley of

The Actar valley is located in the Southern Vashnar mountains on the highway to
Cyrene. Populated mainly by happy-go-lucky halflings and their wargoat steeds,
the valley is also home to a variety of wildlife and, so rumour has it, a
cyclops that's a perpetual thorn in the side of the halflings. 

The halflings themselves tend to spend their time in the village or on the
banks of the river that winds through the valley, splashing, playing, and
fishing. One can even spot an occasional naiad shyly watching the halflings'
merry-making from afar.
