19.24.12 Contender's Talismans

The "Contender's" talisman set:

Talismans and pieces from this set can be obtained in the following ways:
- Promotions (this will always be announced via the relevant news when the
  pieces are currently available)
- Trading between players (pieces only)
- Whole talismans bought from the Delosian shop (when in stock)
- Partial completion (see below.)

The Contender's set contains the following talismans:

A funereal bouquet                 - TALISMAN INFO CONTENDERSBOUQUET
 - Purchasable in Delos for 250 bound credits.
 - With this emblem of mourning in your inventory, whenever you die and 
   leave behind a body, the corpse will be covered in flowers themed to 
   your city.

A porcelain piglet bank            - TALISMAN INFO CONTENDERSPIG
 - Purchasable in Delos for 50 bound credits.
 - This trinket starts as a mere piglet and grows into a fully fledged 
   piggy bank as it is filled with gold!
 - To encourage saving, gold cannot be removed once put in (and is entirely
   safe from theft).
 - SMASH the piggybank to destroy it permanently and retrieve your savings.
 - SHAKE it to see how much is inside.

An adventurer's journal            - TALISMAN INFO CONTENDERSJOURNAL
 - Purchasable in Delos for 700 bound credits.
 - READ this journal and learn the details of a quest you have never before 
   completed!
 - It will change once per Achaean month, and will never show newbie or
   Elemental Planes quests.

An odious jug of chum              - TALISMAN INFO CONTENDERSJUG
 - Purchasable in Delos for 200 bound credits.
 - CHUM JUG when in an appropriate location for deep sea fishing, and your 
   strike chance shall be increased for thirty minutes.

A featureless battle figurine      - TALISMAN INFO CONTENDERSFIGURINE
 - Purchasable in Delos for 400 bound credits.
 - TURN <figurine> <player> and this battle figurine will change to resemble
   the player and fight according to their abilities!
 - This can be done once every 15 minutes.

A prismatic stud                   - TALISMAN INFO CONTENDERSSTUD
 - Purchasable in Delos for 1250 bound credits.
 - Once per Achaean day, your prism tattoo will lock on to the target of a 
   contract or a bounty, following them even if they move from the initial 
   location.
 - If the target changes area or you move, the prism attempt will still be 
   cancelled.

A crimson ribbon bar               - TALISMAN INFO CONTENDERSRIBBON
 - Purchasable in Delos for 1500 bound credits.
 - With this bar in possession, whenever you score a player kill, you begin
   to accrue a kill streak!
     - After five successive kills, you will be fully healed in mana.
     - After ten successive kills, you will be fully healed in both health and
       mana.
     - After fifteen successive kills, your afflictions will be cured entirely,
       and your health and mana pools will be restored to max.
     - After twenty successive kills, in addition to a full refresh of health,
       mana, and afflictions, your health will be temporarily doubled until
       lost through damage.
     - This does NOT function while Mayology is active.
     - If you die, the streak is reset to zero.
     - Upon reaching twenty kills, or after fifteen minutes without kills
       elapses, the streak is reset to zero.

A bronze-handled magnifying glass  - TALISMAN INFO CONTENDERSGLASS
 - Purchasable in Delos for 400 bound credits.
 - CONSIDER will now tell you if the denizen in question has any resistances.

Partial Completions
--------------------
If you have two or three pieces of a talisman in the historical set you can
TALISMAN COMPLETE PARTIAL <talismanname> to complete it for the remainder
of the bound credit value of the item as it is in the Delosian Talisman shop.
   DOING THIS WILL COMPLETE THE TALISMAN AND BIND IT TO YOU.
Talismans completed in this manner will have an altered tradein that
reflects its credit worth, including the credit purchased completion.
I.E
    You have: cruciblebase and cruciblebowl.
    You use TALISMAN COMPLETE PARTIAL CRUCIBLE and pay 500 bound credits.
       This is half the cost of the crucible in the shop because you already
       have half of the pieces.
    You get: a completed soulfire crucible talisman.
    This item has a tradein value of: 346 bound credits.
       This is 2/3rds of 520 credits (The 500 credits paid above, plus your 2
       pieces valued at 10 credits each.)
