you, Isildur. If your child was being burned alive in a house and the
only person able to save her was a thief of Darkness, would you let that
child burn? Would you smile as her screams rent the air? Would you call
up in praise to your purity as her hair burst into flames and her flesh
melted from her bones? Would you explain to this child's spirit that
though her pain was great and her life now ended, at least she did not
have to touch the hand of one of Darkness?
