The matter at hand

I'm sure most of you blame us druids for this ban. But just keep your
ears open for the remainder of what I have to say and then re-evaluate
your thoughts.

Sartan acted first in this war by extermenating Lady Gaia's grove. As
per the rules of Oakstone, Lord Sartan was then enemied from the forest.
Due to this act, Lord Sartan has ordered that every forest location in
Sapience be burned or exterminated. The first wave hit and the Druids
rejuvenated the broken land, and Lady Gaia declared a ban on all herbs.
We then met with Malaclypse and our offer was that if we were given the
ice to finish rejuvenating all the exterminated land that we would cease
this herb ban. While Archon Fhyn who was also in attendance saw fit to
donate some ice to our cause, Overseer Malaclypse decided that this deal
was unfair somehow, and decided to make an offer of his own. He offered
peace if we stopped our ban. Lady Gaia in turn turned down his offer and
Lord Malaclypse then decided to threaten all the druids and the forest.

I then spoke with Seasone and managed to get her agree to ban all
refills to members of Sartan's order to which she kindly agreed. And now
the herb ban was in full effect. This for some reason unbeknownst to
anyone prompted Avitar to go and exterminate every single jungle
location on the face of Sapience. As such the plants of Kola, Skullcap,
and Kuzu are now extinct. You are all aware of the uses of Kola and the
lack of it, well the lack has now grown 10 fold as it will never be
regrwon again. As for Skullcap, that has also been in limited supply,
I'm sure the Infernals don't mind, but I'm sure Y'all will mind when
they come and turn their blades on you. Now for Kuzu, as unimportant as
you might think this plant is, it happens to be an ingredient in every
single salve know to druidkind, so in a short period of time all salves
will cease to be.

Now while only 3 plants are extinct at this point, that number can
easily increase. Tell me where you'll all be when the people you're
siding with in this diagreement have exterminated all of the bloodroot
and moss. That's what I thought. Even Seasone and Rurin only have a
limited amount of these herbs, although there stores are much greater
then those the druids have. They will in time also run out, and you'll
all be the ones suffering.

The forests have no quarrel with any of you, we simply want the ice
supplied to repair the lands and we will gladly begin to fix the herb
shortage. I don't believe that's too much to ask, but that's not my call
to make. Perhaps you should all ask Malaclypse why that's too much to
ask.

My Thanks,
Istavan
