Addressed to: Mordyval Danarrii

On a very rare occasion, you spout blather that just happens to make sense. Yes Mordyval, the city is showing signs of bucking up. Some of you more than others, but on the whole, I would say this operation is going quite well. Sometimes it takes a clear and present danger to bring mortals to a sense of reality.
Though Sartan has His own reasons for what he does, be it anger, revenge, tough love, or simple boredom, I can say that I did what I did to teach the city a lesson. What lesson any of you learn from this will be an individual experience. If the most you can glean from it was "Sartan and Aegis are big mean bastards" then, at least you have learned that much. If you have learned more, then let us count this as a success in adversity.

And Twilight, I am sure you may feel like you are out of touch and missing out on a lot of exciting things in Achaea after your crushing defeat, and the disbanding of your Order. The reason you did not hear about Sartan and I getting married was because it never happened. If either of Us have anything to relate to you, you can be sure that We will send you a card.
--Aegis, God of War--

Penned by my hand on the 13th of Daedalan, in the year 273 AF.
