Talk of Good and of Evil and Right and Wrong seems to lead people into making descisions which force them to follow a path, to adopt a behavioural pattern mapped out for them beforehand by one God or group of people, who dictate their lives and their states of being.

I personally beleive that everyone has an equal capacity for doing good or evil, and chooses the course of action which best suits them in every situation that occurs in their life. I think it is wrong to fight for a cause because someone told you to, or to behave in a certain way because you were forced to by somebody else. Any established organisation one joins has the power to change the person you are inside and to dictate your future descisions.

Admittedly, structure in a person's life is a good thing and can be beneficial to people, but ultimateley we must decide our own fate and the actions we take in moving towards it.

I beleive neutrality is about the ability to say no when asked to do something that seems wrong in our hearts and the power to take each day as it comes and to have some variety in life, as opposed to havng every day orchestrated by some other power.

True neutrality is not about refraining from joining a war between good and evil, just becuase "That's what neutral people do". Neutrality is about making judgements in ourselves and furthering our own futures for the sake of our continue survival and well-being. yes, it may be selfish, but that's what life is. Life takes from what is around it, consumes it and uses it for its survival. The very air is consumed by life's hungry needs.

So don't tie yourself to one mapped fate and restrict your imagination to one course of life, take your life in your own hands and use what is around you for yourself, and, if you so wish, for those you care about. Becuase, use them as we do, our friends help us flourish and grow as people, and it's in our interests to look after them.

Yours selfishly
