Protecting the weak for the sake of keeping them weak is pointless

For the sake of good grammar, I decided to take Lodi's post and correct it. Why not.

In response to you(r) last post,
I) How can a truth that is now viewed as being a lie have ever been a truth at all? As soon as a truth changes even slightly it becomes a different "truth". Doesn't this mean that the old truth wasn't true then? Because for a truth to properly be true, it must be so firmly based with hard facts that it can never change. And as you yourself admit, what is "true" changes all the time. So in my eyes this means that no truth is real, truths are just lies that people currently believe in.
II) On the subject of the Church oppressing people: You say the Church is defending itself? Then at this moment in time both sides are defending and not doing the attacking. I think Pentharian's destruction of Lord Sartan's Temple and declaration of war upon all of His followers shows that perhaps the Church (or should I say more accurately Pentharian's followers) are on the offensive at this moment in time. Also, all my life I have been attacked and slain by members of the Church for nothing more than stating my views. I'm standing up for myself because I'm the one that's being held down. If the Church eventually manages to stop oppression, then who am I to argue with them? But when THEY do, in the name of stopping oppression, that's when I will ask questions.
III) The Church is weak because it seeks to protect the weak. If you protect the weak from "Evil", you are only shielding reality from the eyes of innocents. The protections you speak about is not protection, but a way to keep the weak, weak, purely for the sake of it. You can rant on about how the way "Evil" treats the weak is wrong, but deep down I hope you realize that right and wrong are nothing more than social illusions created by those in power to make people like you and me scared to think differently, and to make them scared of being wrong or doing wrong.
There are those in the Church who only protect the weak because it gives them power over someone else. By protecting something they expect the debt to be repaid, ten fold in some cases. As usual, deep down the motives that drive the Church are, in essence, that which it calls "Evil".
(Funny how he capitilizes protecting and weak instead of the "H" in a pronoun when referring to a God.)
