Pray tell, what is wrong with Bastardy?
By definition, a bastard is one born to an un-married mother.
My own son, Erubus, is a bastard. I never married his mother, but I loved her, and love her memory. I regret not having been there to help raise my son, but having met him in later years, he has turned out to be a fine man. One I am proud of.
With this in mind, bastardy is neither a good nor a bad thing. In my opinion, naturally.

I do understand that Lord Sartan used the term "bastard" not weith its direct meaning - rather a metaphor. But in my mind being called a bastard of the gods is not a bad thing. Got to be better than being a Bastard of Caled, =p and as far as I know Erubus doesn't have a problem with it *grin*

So take pride in Lord Sartan's label, fellow Achaean's. Dont be insulted until He calls us the dregs of Creation or something =p
