Unattainable Peace

Zero,

Its funny, you said a lot of things in your post that I was thinking while writing mine but didn't say because I thought they would be misunderstood. I agree, the truth does hurt, and mostly because people can't accept it for what it is, and would rather shoot the messenger then read the message.

But, I must say, I disagree with two of the things you said, the first is that "Peace is beyond us". Sometimes in my fight for Peace, I have felt that way: that Peace is unattainable. But for this reason: never, in the history of the mortal races, has everyone agreed to lay down their weapons (words, swords, venoms, or whatever), and try to make complete and utter Peace. I truthfully don't know if such a Utopia could be found and kept because distrust and anger would sit and fester in too many hearts. To attain ultimate Peace, you must lay aside ALL weapons. Especially thos of a political and back-stabbing nature, as they are worst then the sharpest sword.

As far as your comments about us "followers of Oneiros ...folling yourselves standing in your temple in Shaastan while people kill the viallagers outside your walls" I say this to you: Never have I, and never will I use the sanctity or safety of Oneiros' temple to hide either my eyes or my person. I am not blinded by Peace. I realize that there is violence and hate and war in the world. And yes, I do strive to put an end to all of those. Is that unattainable? For some reason, I just don't think so. I know most of you will think I am a fool for believing so, but I have never found fault in having faith.

May His Peace be a light unto your path,
Dom
