Dalamar,
-
I write this post to you to inform you of the decision of the Sentinels Guild as a whole. and to explain the reasoning behind it.
-
You were temporarily realeased of enemy status to fight the orcs, you were discovered responsible for aiding those self-same orcs, the orcs that burned the Aalen forest. Because of this you were re-enemied from the forest at the end of the war.
-
You believed yourself unrightfully enemied, and threw a tantrum, exterminating 44 groves - in the eyes of us forest protecters, this is one the greatest crimes possible, certainly the greatest crime ever committed agaisnt the forests of Achaea by a mortal. At least in known history.
-
You apologised to us, and tried to make amends by paying for the damage done. Galdrion had no right, no official right to accept such a payment as an amendment, but we respected it because we respect Galdrion greatly. You used a loophole in the words used by Galdrion in that agreement, you deceived Galdrion and the rest of the forest-dwellers by attacking and kill Covenant shortly after.
-
It matters not that there was a loophole that allowed you to do so, you knew the INTENT of the agreement as well as did Galdrion and Covenant. As such we consider you oathbreaker, never again will we trust your word nor ANYTHING you say.
-
Now you have broken the pact we are free to do as should have been done from the very start. Such a crime against Mother Nature should never have been forgiven for a small amount of gold paid, such a crime should NEVER be forgiven. In the minds of us forest dwellers it is paramount to the arson of 44 rooms of city, would Shallam, or Hashan, or any city forgive you such a crime for a small fine of gold paid? No. And nor will we.
-
On behalf of my Guild, the Sentinels, I, Caled Tiercel, Secretary of War, pronounce you Guild enemy. I commit my Guild to war against you, no effort will be spared, you will be forgiven on the day the trees in each grove you exterminated forgive you.
