Dalamar

I have no authority in the Sentinel guild, and I am not a member of the
Oakstone. Long have I stood for protecting the forests, and I did this
tonight. I understand that the Oakstone would unenemy Dalamar if he
fought beside us all against the orcs and ogres, which he did. Dalamar
remained an enemy to the Oakstone after the invasion was repelled. Or, he
was enemied once again, if the status was ever removed. This is breaking
oath, showing dishonour. Dalamar struck against them by exterminating
over forty forest locations. For this, I could not but hunt him. I had
much help, and for that I am proud of you all. I was not successful, as I
died numerous times, but it is not how we die, but how we live.
Dalamar has paid to me a sum of gold to help pay for the replanting of the
groves he has destroyed. He was wrong for doing this, and he has admitted it.
He has done more than that, he has stood behind his words, and paid his debt
in my eyes. I will attack him no longer, and I ask that the Oakstone remove
his enemy status, and those loyal to nature accept his payment of debt as well.
As I have said, I hold no authority but in the Longshanks clan, and my family
will hunt him no longer. He has paid his debt, as a man does, and there is no
further reason to seek vengeance.
