animals of Sapience

For those who are unaware, many druids and some Sentinels have been
receiving visions from the animals, or from a source claiming to speak
for the animals. They speak of mass slaughter, of rotting corpses,
of being hunted and their bodies left to rot. There have been increased
reports of animals attacking, mainly lions, wolves, and jaguars. Once
again, we do not know from whence these visions come. Gaia has been
away from the realm for an extended time, as I understand Lupus has been
as well. I would implore the Earth Mother, and the Lord of the Beasts and
the Hunt to please contact me on this issue as soon as possible.
I would further ask my brethren, the wolves, to once again speak with me
as has been the case in the past. I have honoured my pact with them to
tell no living soul of the details of our relationship in the distant
past, and this remain a solemn oath taken with me to the grave.
Once again, I implore a noble pack leader to speak with me as soon as they are
able. To those who wonder of wolves and other animals reading these scrolls,
they have their ways, I assure you, of discovering what goes on in the realm
of man if they so choose. I shall also seek them out across the land.
To everyone else, I would ask that you cease the slaughter of the animals.
I have tested my strength and prowess against the likes of bears and lions
from time to time, but no longer until this issue is settled. The way of
nature is to hunt or be hunted, but many lives outside of nature to a certain
degree. He does not need to kill or be killed. I would ask that you
restrain the pleasure of the hunt, and battle with predators of great
strength until such time as the Druids and Sentinels are able to discover
more on these visions. I would not like to see Achaea become divided on
this issue, as it would be harmful to everyone. Things such as a freeze
on harvesting, ban on elixirs, open fighting in the forests and on the plains,
these are things we can certainly do without.
