I understood what Lord Perrin was trying to say. As it is, I have no problem with Alex and his undruidlike behavior. He gives us something to do when the long winter nights set in. Pierce once suggested we take on porccupines or some such before we start in on the church. Just this once, I take his advice. Yes, Alex is a coward and an Achaean of the worst moral fiber. But if all were Infernals, there would be no need for Infernals.

Yes, we are young, and although weak is not a word I choose to use, we are all pretty much newbies. I consider myself a 33 year old newbie as well. Suddenly I have guild skills. So much to learn. So little time. Given time, yes, I believe our guild will be very strong if not comparatively small. Our decidedly difficult interviews only allow only the most suited in as members. But the ones that do make it in, I have no trouble taking responsibility for their actions. That is a good feeling for a Guild Master to have.
