Purging the weak

Written by: Sir Kay, Clubs of the East

purging the weak, eh? Is this the new excuse you have come up for killing people? Weak from what perspective? There are more aspects to strength than the physical one. You are weak in several of those aspects, but you will not be purged. Why? Because we of the church recognize that everyone has some form of strength and through cooperation, we can combine our strengths to make progress. If the physically weak are purged, we lose many people who are strong in other fields. Some are strong morally and therefore do not strive for power, others are strong mentally and see no purpose to the endless struggle for power. What would you work for, Gijan? A short-lived civilization based on physical tyranny, or a progressive one based on cooperation?

Penned by my hand on the 25th of Mayan, in the year 231 AF.
