Your ignorance

Dagu,

First of all, have NO clue what it is I stand for and in your ignorance you have made that QUITE clear. Secondly ,if you have any desire to show proper respect for the gods, you shall not tell them how to do their jobs or make such statements about them unless you wish to be on the wrong end of their wrath.

You claim to be learned and able to read, perhaps you should read more carefully before you make statements as "The god formerly known as Deucalion, God of Justice, has decided that he is too good to be "good" anymore. To me, this move stinks of "evil". Even though he is a god, he needs to think about all of those people that depended upon his divine guidance. Instead, he had to be selfish (and therefore "evil") and just abandon everything he stood for."

Perhaps you are too busy sitting in the forest eating jellybeans and drinking your tequila to read things like PUBLIC POST #2782 or #2785 for if you had you would read QUITE clearly that I abandoned nothing. Quite the contrary, if anything I have strengthened my stance on things. I will assume your mind was clouded as you chose to overlook such posts and make such arrogant claims as to dictate to a God and define in three short sentences the nature of good, evil, and neutrality. So, with a public and sincere apology I shall spare you my wrath and your life, though you have now officially earned my disfavor. But, if you are truly neutral, then you "don't give a damn" do you?

As for your "definitions" that you called "pretty clever" you have only succeeded in flaunting your ignorance. If you are Neutral then why did you "give a damn" about picking the mushrooms in the first place? To begin with, your "thunderbolt" of enlightement generated by mushrooms is ludicrous as you would seem to imply that picking a mushroom is tantamount to selfishness and evil since "There was no way for them to protect themselves," and "They were just sitting there, doing no harm to anyone at all." They are *mushrooms*, an inanimate plant, of COURSE they sit there! They are nature's gift to you. And some DO have protection, if you are to ever eat a poisonous mushroom, you will be quite familiar with such protection. And what of that tequila you are so fond of? Are you evil because plants had to be killed to ferment and make that drink? - Of course not. Though you logic would seem to imply so.

Sartan may speak to evil if he so wishes but as far as good being "when one puts all other things above one's self," it only takes a moment of thought to see how ludicrous that statement is and how open for abuse. Will the "good" put the needs of the evil above themselves? Of course not! Though many mortals of the realm have been fooled by this simple ridiculous lie.

As for any who wish to question my authority to speak on this matter by using the argument that "Deucalion, you are not the "God of Good" who says you can make definitive statements like this?!" I say this: "A title is nothing more than a reflection of a god's essence or that which he/she is associated with. Surely you would not tell Phaestus, the Smith that he can only make comments about how to best hammer a horseshoe, or Hermes the Messenger that he can only be definitive about how to best deliver a letter, or that Twilight, God of Darkness, or Aurora, Goddess of Light that they can only speak definitively about whether the light is on or off?!

However, I wish the realms to be quite clear on this, so for the sake of those who operate in such a limited capacity, I will change my title to "Deucalion, God of the Righteous." This in no way changes any element of my essence, but merely helps those who have not the ability or intelligence to look past a title and see the actions that define and give meaning to any title.

If you wish to look up the definition of "Righteousness" as recorded by the sages you will see, "n. - doing what is right or good; just; upright; godly." However, if you *truly* wish to understand these deceptively simple-looking words then you will come to find that they cannot be defined completely by a scholar's pen, nor by any single action, but instead by the course of a person's life, dreams, ambitions, and actions.
