Oy, all this here good an' evil nonsense...

Cronono: I challenge both your statements (that on good and that on evil). If it is of any matter to you, I am "a truly Seraphic soul", and have worked hard to attain and maintain this. Voila my reasons...
1. I have worked hard to become as good as I can. I have done so in my own intrest. ALL WHO ARE GOOD ARE BEING IT, IN PART, FOR RUTHLESS SELF-INTREST!
2. Strife's most hatred enemy is weakness (I may stand corrected... but I think not). Have you seen the way he takes care of newbies of the Infernal's guild? He provides them with the many things they need. He even feints attacks at his young guild members, without any intent to kill them. This may often cost him herbs and elixirs that he wouldn't otherwise use. Is this selfish? ALL WHO ARE EVIL ARE GENEROUS TO THOSE THAT WISH TO FOLLOW THEIR TEACHINGS.
So, what is Good and what is Evil? There are no fancy words to describe it as most of us would think. No clear border between the two exists. Perhaps Sartan stands for what is the "ultimate" evil, and Deucalion (not Aurora, if I am not mistaken) has taken a stand for the "ultimate" good. However, I shall leave you with a simple picture to shed some light upon this debate. Glance upon a rose, if you will. See you not its flower, with its precious petals? Why, a young lad may pick that flower and offer it to the maiden of his choice, as a token. Or perhaps a peddler may sell pluck the gentle flower and sell it, thus providing for himself in his poverty. See you how much good a rose may do by so generously offering its flowers? Now drag your eyesight lower, and settle upon its thorns. Imagine the young child but strolling through the garden who approaches the wretched stem and pricks his fingers. Hear his cry, feel the warmth of his tears, and see his young pure blood upon his fingertips. Who can now say the ro
(ahem) Who can now say the roes is not evil? It hurt an innocent child, has it not?
The point is this: if the rose provides for you in all its generosity, you will see it as good. If the rose has hurt you at some point in your life, you will see it as evil. Yet the rose is truly neither. So how can any of you say good and evil is not relative? It is very much so. The only reason that there aren't a million point of views on a single person's alignment out there is because humans tend to align themselves to the poles. All those who believe in the church automatically have a certain perception on good and evil. All those who think the church is nonsense have a different perception on good and evil though they do use the church's terms for fun. (What do I mean? Strife says "I am evil, I must rid this world of weakness" all the time. Imagine he would actually say that to a newbie who wanted to join his guild who knows that newbies are weak... And this newbie trusts Strife because Strife is for this newbie good, not evil. If Strife will aid the newbie to become evil, Strife is automatically good
for those who are evil.)
Well, hope you enjoyed, since I did not intend this to be yet another substance-lacking post...
